Land’s Sake CSA 2008 Work Share Application

A limited number of work shares are available.   A weekly commitment of 4 hours of work for the 20-week CSA season is required along with a $50 membership fee. 

We will contact you within a week of reviewing your application in order to set up an interview and answer any further questions you might have. Receipt of this application will hold you the option of purchasing a share at full price should the work share arrangement not be appropriate for you; the option to purchase a share will be held for one week after your interview date.  Should you become a work share, we will ask for remittance of your membership fee at that time.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:        

Harvester/Field Worker   Must be physically fit, capable of working in any weather condition and able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.  Tasks will include harvesting, washing, weeding.  Attention to detail is extremely important.  Work hours are from 9am-1pm either Tuesday or Thursday.

Pick-up Host    Must enjoy interacting with people.  Purpose is to help shareholders navigate their pick-up, pass along important information and answer questions.  Also responsible for keeping CSA displays stocked and tidy and monitoring backstock of the harvest.  Projects will be available for quiet times during the day.    Work hours are from 1pm-5pm either Tuesday or Thursday.
