Land's Sake CSA

Community Supported Agriculture

2008 will be Land's Sake Farm's 3rd year offering CSA shares!

CSA stands for "Community Supported Agriculture" and is a common way for small, sustainable-method farms to market their produce. Essentially, a customer becomes a shareholder and pays for a season's worth of food in the spring. Joining a CSA is a significant way to demonstrate that you are connected to the land and respectful of the ups and downs of farming.  Our retail stand continues to be open every day for visiting customers from 10am-6pm.

Hello to all returning and prospective CSA members!

To all the wonderful folks who have enjoyed our first two years of Community Supported Agriculture, thank you and welcome back.

To those of you who will be new shareholders at the farm, we are excited that you are participating in the ever-growing movement of people joining their neighbors in support of local organic agriculture.  Your membership not only entitles you to a share in the bounty of the farm's harvest but also represents your commitment to growing and consuming food close to home without the use of synthetic chemicals that pollute our soils and waterways.  Shareholders also enjoy the chance to meet with friends at their weekly pick-ups, swap recipes with fellow members who are eager to share their kitchen secrets and join in the harvest of a selection of crops such as cherry tomatoes and beans.

As always, we welcome any suggestions or feedback regarding the CSA and encourage your involvement in making this program a reflection of our community and of our collective commitment to local farming.
