Tours and More at the Farm
Allowing a child to experience
the natural world can never occur too early in their life. For this reason, we encourage you
to bring your preschool group to the farm to learn about the cycles that
occur with each season and the special events that they coincide
with. During the spring, for
example, get their hands dirty by helping us plant some seeds while in the
fall your group can harvest the vegetables for a soup that you prepare
later on. Each program is
designed to be hands-on and actively engage your young ones in a
meaningful experience. Please
give us a call to find out more about each program. Spring Seed Planting

Family
Programs Finding a time when the whole
family can be together is often difficult in our highly structured and
scheduled lives. At Land’s
Sake we try to offer opportunities for families to be together in a less
programmed, more relaxed atmosphere where the family can reconnect with
each other and the land. Beginning in late-winter of
2008, we will offer seasonal family oriented programs. Some will feature simple living
activities that can be replicated at your own house while others will
engage you in the monitoring of migrational species.

trip.
