Land's Sake Supper Club

Please join us for our popular Supper Club at the Barn of the Josiah Smith Tavern in Weston, MA. The Land's Sake Supper Club is a monthly series of gourmet dinners expertly prepared by a local chef featuring fresh produce from Land's Sake Farm and other nearby farms. Each monthly three-course dinner at the Barn highlights a seasonal theme served family style to 40 guests in an historic tavern. View a sample menu.

Please note: Supper Club dinners are BYOB. Please feel free to bring the beverage of your choice.

Cost: $55 for Land's Sake members and $70 for non-members.

Reservations: Registration and pre-payment required. Only 40 reservations per event. Please use our online registration system. If you would like to first become a member of Land's Sake and make your reservation at the reduced member rate, we'd be very happy to count you among our strong supporters. Memberships start at $50. Also, in most cases special dietary needs can be a accommodated.

Cancellations: Because seating is limited and food is purchased in advance, we cannot guarantee full refunds for cancellations made less than a week prior to the event. In the event you must cancel late, we will attempt to fill your seat with someone from our waiting list. Please email cancellation notices to supper@landssake.org.

Our Chef: Chris Chung is executive chef at the new AKA Bistro in Lincoln, MA, winner of a Best of Boston 2011 award.  Chris was born in Honolulu, but grew up in Macao, a former Portuguese colony where food was often a combination of influences from east and west, and Chung became intrigued by it at a very early age. Chung’s family returned to Hawaii where Chris was educated and spent summers in various Japanese restaurant kitchens on Oahu.  A meeting with James Beard Award-winning chef Kenneth Oringer in 2004 led to UNI, an intimate sashimi bar adjacent to Oringer’s CLIO in Boston, where Chung served as chef.  Chung lived and worked in Los Angeles for a few years, but returned to UNI in 2009 and was named a Rising Star Chef that same year.  In 2010, Chung left UNI to open AKA in suburban Lincoln, MA with his business partner Christian Touche.

  • Sam and Lindsay Hunt, who partnered with Land’s Sake and its former Executive Director, Grey Lee, to start the Supper Club in 2009 with Sam serving as its chef until July 2011. The success of the Supper Club is due in large part to the vision and commitment of Sam and Lindsay over the past several years. Sam Hunt, a Weston native, is currently the Executive Chef and Co-Manager at 15 Walnut in South Hamilton, MA.
