Our Farmstand

Our Stand

Besides beautiful, park-like views and fresh produce, the Land's Sake Farmstand also offers pick-your-own crops and an opportunity to interact with the very farmers who are growing your food.  In addition to the large diversity of vegetable crops that we are growing on our 25 acres of farm land, we are proud to offer the following fine local products:

  • Our own Land's Sake maple products.
  • Honey from our hives, maintained and produced by Reseska Apiaries.
  • Bread delivered fresh on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from Nashoba Brook Bakery, in Concord, MA. They use almost all organic ingredients!
  • Seasonally available tree fruit (peaches, nectarines, apples, pears) from Carlson Orchards in Harvard, MA.
  • Seasonally available berries from Nourse Farms, in South Deerfield, MA.
  • Fresh picked (every morning!) sweet corn from Brigham Farm in Concord, MA, starting in mid-July.

Hours: The Land's Sake farmstand opens sometime in early June (depending on the weather!) and traditionally closes on October 31.  Stay tuned for new hours in 2012. Our address is 90 Wellesley Street in Weston, MA.  Come visit us!

Pick-Your-Own

How it works: Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, tomatillos, peas and beans are sold per pint or quart. Herbs are sold per bunch. Flowers are sold per blossom at .35 cents each. Sunflowers and larger blossoms are approximately $1.25 each. Containers, scissors, rubber bands, newspaper and water are provided. Please check the Pick-Your-Own board at the farm stand for specific instructions or ask a staff member.

Availability: During the season, please call 781-893-1162 and press 1 for a daily recording of what is available. The message is updated daily before 8 a.m. Pick Your Own crops are evaluated daily and made available at the discretion of the farm manager based on crop conditions and weather. As a rule, fields must be dry to pick berries as wet conditions can spread plant diseases. Because we are a small-scale farm committed to growing a diversified number of crops on modestly sized fields, our availability can be limited. Also, we do not use chemicals or sprays in order to keep our fields, food and customers healthy.

Picking limits: Sometimes limits are placed on the amount that may be picked per day, per picker. This is to better manage crop health and availability. Thank you for your understanding and please respect these limits.
